Employee Engagement activities in Delhi
The IBM Smarter Workforce Institute and
Globoforce’sWorkHuman® Research Institute recently conducted global research the study, where they defined employee experience as “a set of perceptions that
employees have about their experiences at work in response to their
interactions with the organization.”
The IBM research findings indicated that
during employees’ workday, they typically interact across the three spheres –
the social sphere, the physical sphere, and the work sphere. These spheres of
interaction are the key starting point of any employee experience.
The study determined that leadership and
workplace practices are key drivers of employee experience and thereof employee engagement.
It is the management that provides the path for generating positive employee
experience. Team building activities, the camaraderie amongst the team members,
immediate acknowledgment of efforts, instilling pride and team spirit are top
drivers of employee experience leading to prolonged employee engagement.
A positive employee experience leads to
a happy state of mind, better performance, increased initiatives by the workforce,
higher productivity and most of all increased employee
engagement.
It was observed that organizations with
engaged employees satisfied strong advocates of organizational work culture
and look for staying long with their organization.
An inspired, motivated workforce leads
to higher focus in work, and as per the study contributed to higher average
revenues and profits. These measurable business outcomes have provided the necessary impetus to organizations to work towards transforming their
workplaces.
Once a firm enters the transformational
world of employee experience and employee engagement,
it doesn’t take long to understand why everyone’s talking about this.
